Geographic Expansion

DEMAND’s aim is to help as many disabled people as possible,
and our strategy for achieving that is geographic expansion.

Our sites in Hertfordshire and Yorkshire give coverage over much
of England and we aspire to open a site in Scotland, probably in the
M8 corridor.

Expansion requires money and our target is to attract both start up
funding and to grow our income so that the larger organisation can be
sustained.

In the 5 years since opening a new site in Yorkshire we have more than doubled the number of people we have helped, and greatly increased our “reach” across the country.

We are clear that we can do the same again with further expansion but to do that we need financial support.
